Schleich repaint dapple gray

With a lot of time, patience, and attention to detail, this Schleich horse has been transformed into a dapple grey.

For the painting, I used acrylic paints, airbrush, and pigments. The interplay of these techniques creates a particularly soft, natural look with gentle gradients and great depth.

Afterwards, I refined the model with many hair-by-hair details to make the coat look even more realistic.

The eyes were painted in detail and then sealed with glossy varnish to make them expressive and lifelike.

Each of my repaints is a unique, hand-painted piece created with great attention to detail.
